Our Purpose
God has put us on the earth to fulfill His purpose. This is found in Ephesians 2:10
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do!”
We can define our purpose in five parts which we adopted from the “40 Days of Purpose” outline:
1) We were planned for God’s Pleasure – Which we call Worship

2) We were formed for God’s Family – Which we call Fellowship
Romans 12:5
“So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
3) We were created to become like Christ – Which we call Discipleship
Philippians 2:5
“Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.”
4) We were shaped for serving God – Which we call Ministry
1 Peter 4:10
“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others.”
5) We were made for a
Colossians 4:5
“Be wise in the way you act towards outsiders; make most of every opportunity.”
